Details of the training

  • Objectives

    Module 1

    • Master the fundamental gestures of Kobido and understand its particularities
    • Apply correct hand and massage practitioner posture
    • To situate the history of Kobido and the creation of the Takumi Finch methodology
    • Understanding the anatomy of the face

    Module 2

    • Know how to work on all areas of the face with Kobido gestures
    • Cleavage Protocol
    • Protocols of modelling on the mouth
    • Precautions, contraindications and benefits of Japanese facial modelling
    • Kobido Fundamentals
    • Protocols on eyes and wrinkles.

    Module 3

    • Acquire the fundamentals of the Kobido gestures
    • Know how to work on all areas of the face with Kobido gestures
    • Precautions, contraindications and benefits of Japanese facial modelling
    • Neckline, mouth and eyes protocol
    • Anatomy and physiology of the throat and cleavage

    Module 4

    • Build a complete and personalized Kobido treatment
    • Learning and rehearsing the lift

  • Validation of prior learning

    Validation of prior learning

    Validation will take place in half a day approximately 1 month after the end of the training. (For all dates, please consult the Training Calendar).

    It is in 2 parts: a 15 minute massage and a 45 minute discussion.

    You will need to submit a course report summarizing the main points of the training and a 15-minute video of your massage by this date.

    This validation is not a sanction. It is conducted in a spirit of benevolence and with the desire to help you acquire credibility in your technique.

    Certification

    The training is validated by a wellness certification "Kobido Specialist" in the technicality ofInstitut Takumi Finch.

  • Prerequisites

    Who is this training for?

    • You're getting into wellness, and you think learning a facial would be a good place to start.
    • You are already a Comfort Health practitioner, and you are looking for another discipline.
    • You practice a certain Japanese face massage, but you want to know the authentic gestures.

    Beginners or people in retraining can access this course if there is a high level of motivation and experience with touch or an affinity to touch.

  • Content of the training

    Duration

    • 180 hours of training (45 hours per module)
    • 12 days (4×3 days) (24 hours per module)
    • 84 hours of e-learning training (21 hours per module)

    Personal work

    • Plan on 3 to 5 hours of work per week
    • Plan 1 massage per week on a model or friend/family

    Pedagogical team

    Takumi Finch, is a Facial Therapist. She is a Master Masseur from Asia and a Master Teacher, Lecturer and Trainer-Consultant, Facial Therapist. She divides her time between her consulting room, a centre training center dedicated to facial massage, and her role as an international ambassador.

What is kobido?

Originating from the Asian culture, Kobido is performed with authentic gestural techniques based on percussions and vibrations.

Pedagogy

The centre training center is specialized in the well-being techniques of Japanese facial massage*. We train to become a facio-therapist, artisan-masseur, beautician specialist or facialist.
