Butterfly Stretch (part II)

Objective:

Stretch the nasogenian crease to open up the mouth area, making the mouth area look less severe.

Description:
Stretching is done using your index and middle fingers. The pressure can be mild to medium.

Actions on:

  • The nasogenial crease
  • The nasogenial fold
  • The upper lip elevators

Gestures:

  • Stretches with index and middle fingers together. Using the middle flat area of your fingers, not the tips of your fingers.
  • These 2 fingers rest at the level of the tip of the nose.
  • Thumbs resting gently resting on the forehead to support the hand.
