Lower Lip Lift (part II)

Objective:

  • To release the lip from the tightness of the wrinkles.
  • To bring back some flexibility in the lip.
  • To bring back density in the fibers of the upper lip.
  • To bring back some oxygenation and hydration to the upper lip

Description:

The hand has got the shape of a rectangle, with the thumb on the upper lip and the indexes under the lower lip.

Put your thumb on the upper lip to stabilize your hand. turn your thumb a bit on its side so that it doesn’t squash the upper lip. The thumb always moves with the rest of the hand.

Your indexes are moving the upper lip upwards to give it back some flexibility. If the lower lip is very thin, you will need to start gently. Little by little the lip will gain in flexibility. The maneuver is done carefully with a slow and deep pressure. Build up the pressure progressively. This will squeeze the lips together, pinching them.

Actions on:

  • The fibers and fascia of the whole lower lip
  • The wrinkles and lines of the lower lip

Gestures:

  • With your index fingers, lift the lower lip
  • The thumb will be above, on the upper lip
  • Do it at different places on the lip
